Beginners Soaping Class
For Safety purposes there is a limit of 4 persons for this class. Please keep your confirmation email to bring to your class.
In this class, we will be making a simple log soap with a swirl of colors and using fragrance oils, and discussing how how to use lye with milk, the benefits and drawbacks to using natural and artificial colorants and fragrances, the impact of choosing your oils on the environment, and the best sources to buy your ingredients.
Please wear long-sleeved shirts and pants, and clean indoor shoes. Safety glasses and gloves will be provided for you to use and keep. Please bring your own duotang or binder just to keep a few handouts if you wish, and few pieces of paper should you wish to take notes. I will supply all ingredients. If you are allergic to any essential oils please let me know ahead of time and I will find another oil to use.
Riverside Soaps will be at the Naven Market under the dome on August 23, September 27, and October 25 for you to see our entire selection of soaps, bath bombs, sugar scrubs, natural deodorants, and more! This is your chance to see and smell everything in person! Hope to see you there!
Soap of the Month
Introducing Breath of the Wild, a soap that is surprisingly reminiscent of hot September days and cool September nights, with hints of cedar drifting on the breeze, while soft flowery notes are carried through your windows as you doze off in the days that precede fall. This all-natural, vegan soap is brought to you by organically harvested Scottish Thistle, a plant that's not only pretty and prickly, but is also edible and has many skin care benefits. As with all our soap-of-the-months, we have a limited amount, and once they're gone, they won't be back!
Online Christmas DIY Webinar - Dec. 2 1pm
Join us online as the Ottawa Public Library hosts Riverside Soaps! I'll be teaching you how to make DIY Salt Scrubs and Bath Salts, and teach you about safe and unsafe Essential Oils and proper storage for your DIY products and gifts! The best part? All ingredients can be ordered from your local grocery store!
Amazing covid-killing company :)
Love your products, I can't wait for your natural deoderants to come out!

Guiness Extra Stout Beer Soap
Lemon Poppyseed Cake
Wild Child (Patchouli Blend)
